FIELD: railway rolling stock; timber carriers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed flat-car body contains frame 1 with box-section side posts connected with side braces made in form of S-shaped members 2 by means of rigid nondetachable coupling. Lower parts of posts, starting from end face, have cross section increasing in height, side walls 5 square to longitudinal axis of car of all or part of posts project relative to inner wall o6 of post. Diaphragms 10 welded to lower surface of upper sheet and to vertical walls are located under zones of horizontal welds connecting inner wall of posts, except for extreme twin posts, to upper sheet of cross beams inside the beams. Plate compensators 8 are installed in place of interaction of lower end face of posts with lower flange of s-shaped member 2.
EFFECT: increased strength and improved manufacturability.
