FIELD: means of transport.

SUBSTANCE: body of railway open-top wagon includes frame (1) with fixed end (2) and side (3) walls consisting of lining boards and frameworks made of pillars, hoops and binders with closed section. The elements are welded from the upper and lower elements. End and side wall binders are rigidly connected by plates installed on upper surfaces of binders and external side surface of the body. End wall hoops are made of two girders. End wall binder extended with end plane behind corner pillar is connected with end plane of the upper side wall binder element by the surface directed inside the wagon body. Length of lower side wall binder element is less or equal to the length of the upper element. A strap welded to the end wall binder with extended part is also welded to the lower part of lower element and to corner pillar plate.

EFFECT: improves side and end wall binders strength and wagon body strength, ensures accuracy of wagon assembling and decreases number of man-hours during wagon body assembling and repair.
