FIELD: manufacture of building materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns compositions of sulfur binders and can find use in manufacture of sulfur concrete designed for protection against radiation and for filling joints of lining, equipment, and building structures operated under ionization emission conditions. Binder containing sulfur (44.2-46.6%), filler (52.0-54.25%), and paraffin as modifying additive (0.25-0.3%) contains, as filler, barite with specific surface area 250 m2/kg and average density 4350 kg/m2 and additionally contains reinforcing component: carbon fibers 10-15 mm in length.
EFFECT: increased bend strength of binder and improved its protective ability against neutron emission.
