SUBSTANCE: electronic circuit designed to control gas-discharge lamp has means for generating pulse sequence that can be supplied to lamp electrodes for starting the latter; means for connecting generation means to power supply; choke coil designed for limiting input current of lamp; means for generation of first pulse train (PO) and separate generation of second pulse train (P1); and means (TO, T1, L3) for integration of first and second pulse trains by addition to produce high-frequency pulse sequence.

EFFECT: enhanced operating and luminous efficiency of fluorescent lamps operating at high frequencies.
