FIELD: soldering processes, namely compositions of fluxes for soldering, mainly cutting tool and hard-alloy members on its surface, possibly high-temperature soldering of copper-base solders having hard-alloy members onto working surface of tool steel.
SUBSTANCE: in order to enhance quality of soldered joints of tool steel and to improve corrosion resistance of soldered steel and solder, flux includes borax, boric acid and fluorine-containing ingredient such as ammonium fluoride at next relation of ingredients, mass. %: ammonium fluoride, 5 -12; boric acid, 30 - 35; borax, the balance.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of soldered joints of tool steel.
