FIELD: chemistry; welding.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be applied in obtaining composition solder in the form of finished rod for high-temperature welding by copper-based alloys for application of abrasive coating onto hard alloy surface, particularly in manufacturing of cutting tools used in oil, mining and tillage engineering. Flux includes boric acid as basis and two or three more components out of group of ammonium fluoride, carbamide, borax, at the following component ratio, wt %: two or three components out of group of NH4F (ammonium fluoride) - up to 4, CO(NH2)2 (carbamide) - up to 4, Na2B4O710H2O (borax) - up to 9.6; the rest is H3BO3 (boric acid).
EFFECT: optimised ratio and interchangeability of flux components in manufacturing for obtainment of high quality rods, extended range of temperature and duration range of flux, enhanced wear resistance of coating.
