FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to fabricating rod made out of hard alloy composite for soldering it on cutting tools. Particles of hard alloy are crumbled, selected and surface cleaned by immersion moistening of particles in the solution of hydrate of ammonium oxide in a transparent closed cylinder capacity which performs impulse movements in the direction perpendicular to the cylinder guide. The process is carried out till the surface of particles becomes lighter. Then particles are placed on an open cellular padding where dimension of cellular is less, than minimal dimension of particles; then the particles are air-dried. Solder on copper base is cut into pieces of a specified dimension. Solder and particles of hard alloy are uniformly spread along the whole length of a mould; the charge is covered with flux containing compositions of boron or compositions of boron and fluoric ammonium. The mould is placed into a furnace and held till solder melts.
EFFECT: production of material possessing strong adhesive bond between binding and filler and low porosity.
