FIELD: quality control engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves selecting element concentration in reference source in a way that its recorded characteristic line intensity matches total spectrum intensity of material under study. To bring back recorded spectrum of material under study to given position, characteristic line of the reference source is brought in coincidence on analyzer energy scale with that of reference signal set in spectrometric impulse processing system. Reference source fluorescence radiation characteristic line is recorded either concurrently with spectrum of material under study or periodically without studied material spectrum being recorded.
EFFECT: high accuracy of analysis.
