FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to superhigh-frequency equipment and can be used as matched transition between coaxial line and waveguide channel. Coaxial-waveguide junction comprises a rectangular waveguide section shorted by a fixed end wall, and a coaxial connector made in the form of a coaxial line piece connected through a wide wall of the rectangular waveguide section, by means of a communication element which is a continuation of the center conductor, wherein central conductor of coaxial connector is made with variable diameter, increased in central part, and is fixed between two symmetrically disposed relative to each other dielectric bushings of variable diameter, which, in turn, are tightened by housing of coaxial connector. Diameters of central conductor and dielectric bushings are selected so that value of wave resistance is invariable along whole length of coaxial line, in addition, before communication element, from non-repartition side of piece of rectangular waveguide, there are at least two conducting elements of fine adjustment with possibility of movement parallel to narrow wall of rectangular waveguide, shifted relative to each other in direction of longitudinal axis of rectangular waveguide, wherein each fine adjustment element is located at distance D from plane of longitudinal section of waveguide channel, where D≤λin/4, λin is wavelength in waveguide. Also, in the central part of the fixed end short-circuiting wall there is a conducting element with the possibility of movement parallel to the axis of the rectangular waveguide, the diameter of which is selected so as to provide coarse tuning of the device input and output matching within the working frequency band.

EFFECT: disclosed is coaxial-waveguide junction.
