FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves hard lens is arranged on cornea. It has the same curvature radius of concave surface matching one of patient cornea. Contact lens is arranged on cornea periphery with in a way it is supported by the cornea and contact lens rim overhangs above the cornea forming lacrimal meniscus and not reaching limb by 1-1.5 mm. Lacrimal gap in optic zone of the cornea subjected to surgical intervention must have been minimum. To reach this, big contact lens diameter is selected so that it approaches the cornea diameter and its internal surface radius is selected maximum close to cornea radius in its peripheral zone.
EFFECT: high stability in arranging corneal contact lens; reduced risk of post-operative complications.
