FIELD: medical science, ophthalmology, contact correction of keratosis.
SUBSTANCE: technical result of invention lies in its versatility, in achievement of most adequate selection of stiff contact lenses for all stages of keratosis, in provision for precise correspondence of fabricated stiff gas-penetrable contact lenses to parameters of test stiff gas-penetrable contact lenses. Invention includes stiff gas-penetrable contact lenses with focal power from -2 diopters to -21 diopters. Surface of lens conjugate to patient's eye comes in the form of set of three spherical lenses symmetric relative to optical axis, which are conjugate one another. Value of radius of curvature per each axially symmetric spherical surface is selected experimentally depending on central radius K of curvature of cornea, which determines stage of keratosis in such manner that correction of eyesight is achieved with achievement of adequate tear clearance both in center, and on periphery.
EFFECT: achievement of most adequate selection of stiff contact lenses.
