FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has capillary flow-through canals for transporting fluid sample from inlet opening to branching point and then to measurement zone and to overflow zone via relief canal. The first lock connection stops fluid flowing after its entering measurement zone. The relief canal is capillary-sized in one direction. The second lock connection has boundary zone which size in this direction is greater and makes an angle directed towards the branching point. The second lock connection first interrupts flow towards the overflow zone but lets it flow later on after the measurement zone has been filled.
EFFECT: controlled flow passage through capillary.
