SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wire rod drawing. In the method of wire rod drawing at a drawing mill, comprising process equipment, namely: a scraping tinder, fine cleaning mechanisms, a wire rod processing system in a magnetic field and vibration with an ultrasonic frequency of the drawing tool, in the process of drawing, wire rod is successively passed through a descaler, at least through two mechanisms of thin cleaning of wire rod with abrasive powder with bushings rotating in different directions along the movement of wire rod, cleaning wire rod surface in two opposite directions, applying symmetrical artificial microrelief on its surface, further processing in constant magnetic field and the wire rod is drawn through a drawing machine fixed in the soap box by means of a holder mounted on a vibrator concentrator installed on the same axis with the axis of drawing.

EFFECT: invention provides reliable gripping of process lubricant when wire rod is fed into drawing tool.
