SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of making carrying tube and fins depending upon designation of heat exchanger from materials having linear expansion factors selected according to condition of thermal clamping of joint of carrying tube and fins during operation of heat exchanger; forming thread or annular flutes on outer surface of tube or outer surface of tube and mounting surface of fins; placing fins on carrying tube and fastening them by plastic deforming at temperature of carrying tube determined according to condition for providing thermal tightness between joined surfaces. At making heat exchangers operating in mode of heater carrying tube is made of material with linear expansion factor exceeding that of fin material. At making heat exchangers operating in mode of cooler linear carrying tube is made of material with linear expansion factor less than that of fin material.
EFFECT: enhanced operational efficiency of finned bimetallic tube.
