FIELD: foundry, namely manufacture of turbine blades of refractory alloys for aircraft engines, for ships and other transport vehicles and power plants.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of heating thin-wall casting molds and placing it into heated container; feeding cooling agent through bottom part of container; rising level of cooler at rate of casting crystallization; when cooling agent is heated until temperature no more than solidus temperature of casting alloy draining cooling agent; in 2 - 5 s again feeding cooling agent and rising its level until previous mark; repeating cycle for achieving complete crystallization of casting. It provides high temperature gradient in zone of crystallization front at minimum consumption of cooling agent.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of castings.
