FIELD: foundry, possibly production of castings with directed and monocrystalline structure. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes vacuum chamber with induction melting furnace inside it, furnace for heating molds and water cooled vessel in the form of truncated cone with bottom and upper part opened towards heating zone. Said heating zone is separated from cooling zone by screen moving in horizontal plane and having segments or sectors. EFFECT: possibility of making high-quality castings with directed and monocrystalline structure including large-size castings with use of radiation process and process with liquid-metal cooling, possibility of using such apparatus as recovery unit. 3 cl, 1 dwg
