METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTINUOUS MANUFACTURE OF TUBULAR MEMBERS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: manufacture of tubes with two chambers separated from each other; for obtaining continuous tubular extruder with longitudinal partition inside it.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes cutting sections of required length from tubular extruder by means of cutting tools. Tubular members are made from film with central half-round part and two bent-off side wings; half-round part is covered with second film which performs function of partition; cross-cutting tool with two revolving knives is used for cutting the sections. Tubular extruder with longitudinal partition is fed between two revolving knives and is laid smoothly, thus extruder has three-layer central zone which consists of flat smoothly laid partition in center, two wall sections and two adjoining two-layer zones on both ends of three-layer zone. Each two-layer zone consists of bent wall sections of tubular member lying one above other. Proposed method ensures cutting of tubular members without additional bends over any length without any damage.

EFFECT: improved quality and appearance of articles.
