FIELD: refractory industry, in particular refractory facing of metallurgy aggregate.
SUBSTANCE: claimed refractory is obtained using of (mass %): microcrystalline quartzite 75-91; graphite 9-25; aqueous solution of ethylene glycol 1.3-3.5; polymeric binder power in form of mixture of solid phenol-formaldehyde resin 2.5-5, urotropine and boric acid, obtaining in process of simultaneous shredding of components, as an antioxidant. Present invention makes it possible to obtain refractory of high density and strength both directly after pressure due to polymeric organic binder and at high temperature due to interaction of ingredients to form ceramic structure.
EFFECT: refractory with increased density and mechanical strength.
