FIELD: devices for removal of condensate from heat-consuming apparatuses.
SUBSTANCE: the steam trap has a vertical body with longitudinal ribs on the inner surface, installed in the upper part of the body are the tangential inlet and outlet (for gas or steam) connections, connection for removal of condensate to the body bottom, located in the body are a conical float engageable with the cone, with the outlet connection for gas or steam, and with the lower end face - with the gradually reducing rod with a connection for removal of condensate that carries a bush with radial slots made of bimetal, curvilinear grooves longitudinally positioned from the upper to the lower holes of the bush are made on the inner surface of the radial slots.
EFFECT: improved operation of the steam trap in continuous service due to elimination of the dead zones in its body by formation of an eddy flow moving through the pipe connection for removal of condensate.
