FIELD: blasting, in particular, methods providing safety in handling of products containing an explosive material.

SUBSTANCE: in case of a non-standard situation use is made of an inert insert that is placed in a direct contact with the explosive charge in the product clearance, the inert insert is removed before a standard burst of the product, the explosive charge is loaded by a shock-wave generator, a low-sensitive explosive is used as the explosive charge. Foam plastic or liquid may be used as an inert insert.

EFFECT: enhanced safety of handling of products containing an explosive charge during the whole activity cycle by prevention of an unauthorized blast of the product, with possibility of its operative activation before a standard blast.
