METHOD FOR AUTOMATED DIAGNOSIS OF ENDOGENOUS INTOXICATION Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G01N33/48

Abstract RU 2719588 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to laboratory diagnostics, and can be used for automated diagnosis of endogenous intoxication in a patient. That is ensured by taking mixed saliva in a test tube. It is centrifuged at the rate of not more than 2000 rpm for 10 minutes. After that, the supernatant is dried for 1 hour on a clean dry slide at room temperature. That is followed by obtaining a digital image of the saliva facies, on which integral darkening of the entire facies is calculated using software, integral darkening of the central zone of the facies, integral darkening of the peripheral zone of the facies. Based on the derived values, the degree of manifestation of endogenous intoxication (M) is calculated. If M is less than or equal to 70 units, program provides conclusion on absence of endogenous intoxication. If value M is from 70 to 80 units, conclusion is made on first (low) degree of endogenous intoxication. If M is from 80 to 105 units - on the second (moderate) degree of endogenous intoxication. If M is 105 to 125 units - on the third (high) degree of endogenous intoxication. If M is more than 125 units - on the fourth (very high) degree of endogenous intoxication.

EFFECT: invention enables determining a degree of severity of endogenous intoxication in a patient.
