FIELD: radio and antenna engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed antenna designed for use as nondirectional transmitting antenna in frequency band of 10 - 100 kHz has even number of N ≥ 4 arms, each incorporating first and second conductor sections of length l1 and l2, respectively, with l2= (0.5 - 0.6)l1. Arms are uniformly disposed on hillsides. Ends of first and second conductor sections of all arms abutting against hill top are connected to first and second conductors of two-wire power line, respectively. External ends of second sections of all arms are electrically interconnected through additional wire sections. External ends of first conductor sections of all arms are grounded. Bottom part of first sections of all arms having length (l1 - l2)may be made in the form of diverging bundle of conductors.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency; ability of shaping directivity pattern nondirectional in azimuthal plane.
