FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves producing four 3-4 mm long openings in conjunctiva between direct muscles 6-7 mm far from limb. Device with transplant is introduced into one of built openings. Working part of the device has hook used for fixing scleral transplant through an opening preliminarily made therein. Then, viscoelastic material is introduced in concurrently moving the device towards the posterior eye pole. Canal between sclera and Tenon's capsule. The canal is filled with 1% solution of hyaluronic acid. Scleral transplant is fixed and the mentioned actions are done in other earlier produced openings. Then, the incisions in conjunctiva are sealed.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; reduced risk of traumatic complications.
