FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: implant for operations for improving human eye covers is made of a biocompatible biostable polymer made by methacrylate oligomer photopolymerisation. Implant is made in form of rectangular plates with width of 0.5 cm to 2 cm and length of 1.5 cm to 10 cm, thickness of 30 mcm to 190 mcm with rounded angles, with smooth surface in contact with Tenon's sheath. Adjacent to sclera surface features have roughness with any type of direction of irregularities with height of irregularities of not less than 5 mcm and blind holes with diameter from 100 mcm to 300 mcm, interconnected by channels with output to edges of implant.
EFFECT: use of present invention provides solid fusion with patient's sclera.
