FIELD: space engineering; holding and releasing structural members kept in folded state.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device has base with pyro units and symmetrical fastening units for holding them along axis of symmetry of structural member. Each fastening unit is made in form of spring-loaded lever mounted on base for engagement of its one arm with structural member and engagement of other arm with rod whose free end is engageable with piston tail-piece. Piston is provided with rod and central through hole; piston is received by hole made in base at axis perpendicular to axis of symmetry of fastening units forming hermetic space between said rod and axle box; this space is communicated with interior of pyro unit through passage. Piston tail-piece is located in axle box and is fastened with base by means of retainer. End face of rod of one of pistons is provided with dampening bush having axial hole whose diameter is no less than diameter of central through hole of piston and radial holes in lateral surface. End face of rod of second piston located symmetrically may be used for locking dampening bush in it. Base provided with axial motion limiters of each rod may be used for adjustable installation of structural members. Area of radial holes of dampening bush is no less than area of central through hole of piston. Inner cavities of pyro units are interconnected by means of hole whose area exceeds area of each flow sections of passages connecting these cavities forming hermetic spaces between each rod of piston and surface of axle box directed to it.
