APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING OF HIGH-CALORICITY GASES FROM SOLID FUEL Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: heat engineering, in particular, solid fuel gasifying equipment used for supplying of users with power.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has hopper for feeding fuel into retorts heated from outside and gas generator with reaction chamber, gas burner for low-caloricity gas, and combustion chamber. Gas generator used is of horizontal type. Retorts have additional branch pipe arranged in their lower part and adapted for supplying of dosed amounts of overheated water steam, carbon dioxide and liquid fuel by means of nozzles through individual pipelines. Combustion chamber is equipped with coil for introducing of overheated steam from water jacket by means of nozzles through additional branch pipe into lower part of retort. Reaction chamber of gas generator has baffle grid for supplying of low-caloricity gas through pipeline into low-caloricity gas burner.

EFFECT: increased caloricity of generated artificial gas and reduced sizes of apparatus.
