FIELD: textile engineering.

SUBSTANCE: shuttleless weaving machine has gap-forming mechanism, arced needle for insertion into gap of weft thread made in the form of at least one loop, and hook needle arranged at side opposite to side, where weft thread loop is inserted into gap by means of arced needle, and adapted for drawing of weft thread loop from said opposite side of gap and fixing of weft thread loop. Another hook needle is arranged at side of insertion of weft thread loop into gap by arced needle and adapted for forming of weaving. Hook needles arranged at side of introducing of weft thread loop and at side of drawing thereof from gap are rocking and rotating around one and the same axis.

EFFECT: simplified construction and reduced loading force applied to tape produced.
