FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nozzles designed for direct injection of fuel into diesel engine. Nozzle spray tip has body with fuel-feed channel, atomizing orifices and spool shutoff valve installed in inner space of spray tip body. Spool valve has axial channel and radial hole connecting said channel with ring groove on shutoff part of spool valve. Spool shutoff valve is made in form of cylinder with lower position stop. Undervalve space located in lower part of spray tip body is connected with high-pressure line by fuel-feed channel made in spray tip body.
EFFECT: simplified design, improved reliability and manufacturability of spray tip.
