FIELD: military equipment, in particular, devices for protection of sighting devices against hitting by bullets and fragments.
SUBSTANCE: the device has a protective body with a window, rotary armored cover, mechanisms for opening the armored covers and a drive, each mechanism for opening the armored cover has a rotary body and a crank with a journal installed on a rotation axle. A slide connected to the armored covers is positioned in the rotary body for reciprocating motion. The crank journal enters a cross closed slot of the slide. A flexible component is located coaxially with the slide between the armored cover and the end face of the rotary body. The slide has a stop limiting the mutual turn of the rotary body and the crank.
EFFECT: eliminated shading of the field of view of the sighting devices and improved armored protection at reduced overall dimensions.
