FIELD: machine engineering, possibly tools for effective finishing of blanks of different materials having trend for occurring flaws such as burnings and micro-cracking.
SUBSTANCE: tool includes sleeve-type body supporting grinding disc and bush to which elastic cutter members in the form of needles are secured. Grinding disc has working layer axially shifted in direction of lengthwise feed and it is in the form of casing with basic opening and with eccentric basic peripheral surface carrying different-height abrasive segments. The last are mounted in holders with possibility of their shifting along circle. Between needles arranged in parallel rows in bush gaskets in the form of rings are placed. Said rings have through openings having the same diameters for needles of one row and increasing for needles of adjacent row from end of bush at side of grinding disc to its opposite end. Grinding disc is mounted in sleeve type body with possibility of rotation relative to it at angular displacement of abrasive segments around axis normal relative to tool rotation axis.
EFFECT: increased useful life period of tool, enhanced quality and efficiency of working due to possibility of using intensified grinding modes.
