FIELD: machine engineering, possibly finishing and strengthening parts of different metals with trend for flaw occurring.
SUBSTANCE: method is realized by means of tool having housing in the form of sleeve in which discs for grinding and hardening disc are mounted. Grinding disc is built-up one and it has axially shifted peripheral cutting layer providing possibility for restoring outer diameter of disc and changing oscillation amplitude of its cutting layer. Hardening disc has plain working outer surface of material with low heat conductivity factor. Hardening disc is mounted with possibility of inclination by angle in range 0 - 2α relative to plane normal to common rotation axis of combination type tool due to using two tapered washers arranged at end hardening disc opposite to grinding disc.
EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities, enhanced efficiency and quality of working, lowered cost of tool.
