FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy and an oil-and-gas industry; chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with the field of devices used for production of sulfur from gases containing sulfur dioxide or hydrogen sulfide and may be used in gas conversion processes of a nonferrous metallurgy, oil-and-gas industry, and also in a design of gas-phase reactors of chemical industry. The reactor contains: a body lined inside with a refractory material with holes for a process gas supply into and withdrawal from a boiler section; a cylindrical chamber connected with the body through the holes for intake of the process gas and supplied with tuyeres located in walls of the chamber and used for the reduction natural gas feeding; a reaction chamber connected with the boiler section. At that the reaction chamber is made in the form of some cylindrical reaction chambers connected in parallel through a distribution chamber with the outlet of the cylindrical chamber, and each of reaction chambers is connected with an individual boiler section. The invention allows to create the design of a high-temperature reactor providing an increase of duration of interaction of reagents in the reaction chamber at simultaneous decrease of its overall dimensions and decrease of total gas-dynamic resistance and increase of total output.
EFFECT: the invention allows to obtain a high-temperature reactor design, to increase duration of the reagents interaction in the reaction chamber, to decrease its overall dimensions, total gas-dynamic resistance, to increase total output.
