FIELD: biological purification of waters and decontamination of a sludge settlings.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertinent to the methods of biological purification of waters and dehydration of sludge settlings. The method of dehydration and a decontamination of the sludge settlings provides for withdrawal of a filtrate through a filtering fabric of the vertical filtrating hose and heating of the sludge settlings using the hot air. The indicated processes are conducted simultaneously. At that the heating of the sludge settlings is exercised by compressed air at the temperature of 70-85°С and its feeding is exercised under the layer of the sludge settlings. The installation of dehydration and decontamination of the sludge settlings contains the vertical filtering hoses made out of a filtering fabric and with their upper parts fixed on the flanges, that are supplied with the branch pipes feeding the sludge settlings and compressed air. At that the installation additionally contains the receiving accumulating containers for the sludge settlings, to which the branch-pipes feeding the sludge settlings through the shut-off gates into the filtrating hoses are connected and the filtrating hoses have a cone-shaped or cylindrical form. The lower part of the cones is equipped with the gates to discharge the dry sludge settlings and the branch-pipes feeding the hot compressed air are elongated inside the filtrating hose up to the upper part of the gate for the sludge settlings discharge. The installation is also supplied with the electrical air heaters, that have a controlled hardware, launders for the filtrate intake and a thermometer. The method and installation of the given invention ensure increase of efficiency and profitability of dehydration and a decontamination of the sludge settlings.
