FIELD: wind-power engineering; stationary and mobile windmill-electric generating plants.
SUBSTANCE: proposed windmill has horizontally mounted non-rotating central axle with bevel sun gear, satellite links radially and uniformly disposed about sun gear, vane-type reduction gear incorporating large and small spur pinions; large spur pinion of vane-type reduction unit is engageable with small one and is secured on horizontal vane axle. Each vane abuts for rotation with ends of its axle against brackets whose bases are installed on cylindrical case mounted coaxially relative to central axle for rotation; tops of brackets are joined on both ends of central axle by means of circular rims which function as driving wheels. Bevel sun gear is fixed on one of ends of non-rotating central axle and small spur pinion of vane-type reduction unit is coaxially fixed to bevel gear engageable with that of satellite link shaft and is facing vane of same satellite link.
EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced efficiency within wide range of wind speeds.
