FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: windmill incorporates a rotor containing a horizontal central shaft not rotating about its axis. Horizontally mounted blades are arranged regularly and radially around the said central shaft. Every blade rests, by its axle ends, against the brackets so that the blade can rotate, the brackets bases being mounted on the cylindrical casing arranged coaxially with the central shaft so as to rotate, while the brackets tops on the said cylindrical casing both sides being tied by rings making the driving wheels linked up with a flexible transmission incorporating power converters. Here note, that the central shaft both ends are supported by the frames and locked thereon, the frames being attached to the platform with a wind vane arranged at the said platform centre.
EFFECT: higher reliability, simpler design and ease of manufacture.
