REGULATING UNIT Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: pipe line fittings; shut-off fittings with performing sliding motion over seat surface between inlet and outlet passages for underground gas stations.

SUBSTANCE: proposed regulating unit has body with flow-through hole where flat gate and insert are mounted. Gate is connected with rod of drive. Flat gate and insert are located between two L-shaped guides which are secured in seat. Seat is mounted on four bolts located symmetrically and secured in body. They are axially movable and may be locked in extreme positions. Located between bolt heads and seat are flexible members.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability and economical efficiency due to reduced loss of pressure pumping gas into well.
