FIELD: piping valves and fittings.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cutoff devices with shutoff member sliding along seat surface between intake and outlet channels and it is designed for use in underground storage gas well stations to regulate flow rate of natural gas when taking up and charging gas at minimum hydraulic resistance. Proposed regulating device has housing with intake and outlet channels and through hole is seat. Flat provided with hole and connected with drive rod and insert are installed in housing. Shutoff member is installed in housing behind the seat coaxially with through hole. Shutoff member is made in form of stepped bushing with sealing surface. Bushing is installed for axial displacement in extreme positions. Holes in housing are mated with surfaces of stepped bushing to form space. Said space communicates with intake channel through hole in housing. Additional seat with for interaction with sealing surface of shutoff member is made in outlet channel of housing opposite to shutoff member. Intake and outlet channels communicate through hole in housing.
EFFECT: improved reliability, increased economy owing to reduction of head losses when pumping gas into hole.
