FIELD: magnetic recording technology.
SUBSTANCE: device has two-position key, two contours with solenoids, constant voltage source and damping diode. Each contour includes capacitor of capacity collector. Constant voltage source and damping diode form an energy supply block with the two-position key. Two-position key is meant for connecting constant voltage sources to capacity collectors. After charging of the latter they are connected to solenoids. Between solenoids and energy supply block a couple of switches is inserted. Their outputs are connected to solenoids, and inputs are connected to respective two outputs of two-position key. Control inputs of switches are interconnected and connected also to first output of control block. Second output of the latter is connected to input of two-position key for switching it from one position to another. Longitudinal axes of solenoids are mutually perpendicular.
EFFECT: better quality of erasing of records, higher evenness of erasing, lower time needed for erasing.
