Abstract RU 2239907 C1

FIELD: circuit-opening devices.

SUBSTANCE: proposed circuit breaker has base, magnetic circuit, restraining coil, armature, contacts, control rod connecting armature to movable contact, and disconnecting spring. Newly introduced thimble is hinged at one end to base. Other end of thimble is hinged to control rod and to movable contact that has loose end. Gap is formed between the latter and thimble in ON-position of circuit breaker. Disconnecting spring is installed for actuating loose end of movable contact to reduce contact-to-thimble gap.

EFFECT: enhanced operating speed of circuit breaker.
