FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is attributed to electric engineering, to protective switching equipment. Circuit breaker contains installed on base magnet conductor with holding coil, armature installed on magnet conductor, non-sliding and sliding contacts, hanger one end of which is pivotally connected with base and another end - with sliding contact, insulation link connecting armature with sliding contact, and opening spring. Circuit breaker contains second magnet conductor with coil installed on the base. Insulation bracket is fixed on free end of sliding contact. The second armature is spring-loaded and pivotally installed on the second magnet conductor with coil. In this device the mentioned spring acts via insulation bracket and the second armature on free end of sliding contact in direction of increase of gap between free end of sliding contact and hanger, and coil of the second magnet conductor is connected in series with holding coil.
EFFECT: speed increase ensured by exclusion of selection of gap between free end of sliding contact and hanger when circuit-breaker is opened, wear reduction and increasing contact clearance when circuit-breaker is opened.
