FIELD: molecular biology, biotechnology, agriculture, insecticides.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology of agricultural plants. Method involves isolating nucleotide sequences from Xenorhabdus nematophilus, Xenorhabdus poinarii and Photorhabdus lumintecens that produce insecticide toxins during their expression. Host-cell is transformed with chimeric gene comprising one of isolated nucleotide sequences and compositions comprising insecticide toxins useful for control of insect-pests are prepared. Invention provides enhancing the resistance of plants against insect-pests and to enhance the yield of agricultural production.
EFFECT: valuable biological properties of nucleic acid, improved method for plant preparing.
