FIELD: medicine, plastic surgery.
SUBSTANCE: one should dissect skin and subcutaneous fiber to perform a broad mobilization of cutaneous-fatty fragment followed by its tension and suturing in. Moreover, one should cut a fragment out of polymeric latticed implant at area of 12 cm the length and width of which depend upon anatomic peculiarities of patient's face, the length of anterior fragment's edge corresponds to that of nasolabial fold, posterior fragment's edge should be dissected into two parts by forming a "swallow tail". Anterior fragment's edge should be sutured with interrupted sutures towards internal surface of nasolabial fold to be tightened backwards. Narrow ends of the fragment should be sutured to temporal periosteum in basal area of concha auriculae helix and in area of mastoid process. For additional fixation the fragment should be sutured to cheekbone's and zygomatic arch's periosteum and, also, to surface muscular-fascial system in buccal area. The method enables to shorten the terms of operation and obtain prolonged and stable cosmetic result.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
