FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves covering tympanic membrane with thin layer of 10% synthomycin emulsion along the perforation hole boundary after its being de-epithelialized before laying human fetus dura mater graft to create better conditions for gluing the graft and perforated tympanic membrane rim portion. The graft is additionally attached to the tympanic membrane by applying laser-mediated biological welding. Fixation is carried out in contact way with distal part of semiconductor laser light guide, the laser operating in pulsating mode. Pulse duration is 600-700 ms large and output power of laser radiation is equal to 8.5 W. Brephoplastic allotissue is welded to perforated tympanic membrane rim in 6-8 points.
EFFECT: tight fixation; avoided application of tampons impregnated with antibiotics; excluded overhead tympanic membrane coagulation.
