SUBSTANCE: method includes setting the blank to be grinded in rotation around the axis of its cylindrical side. The ratio of duration of one revolution of the blank to the time interval of revolution of the rotor of the planet head by an angle of positioning of the adjacent disks is determined from a presented relationship which includes the time interval of one revolution of the blank, time interval of the rotor of the planet head by and angle of positioning of the adjacent abrasive disks, the number of contacts of the abrasive disks over one revolution of the blank, and the number of sites to be grinded during the revolution of the planer grinding head by an angle of positioning of the adjacent abrasive disks.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of grinding.
