FIELD: detoxification methods.
SUBSTANCE: composition for removing mercury from mercury-polluted living and administrative spaces contains aqueous solution of mercury scavenger (up to 20%) and surfactant (at least 5%), the former being aqueous solution of copper iodide and the latter oxyethylated alcohol.
EFFECT: increased detoxification efficiency with low-corrosive reagents with regard to structural materials, devices, and equipment.
