FIELD: general machine engineering, possibly obtaining of desired operational characteristics of coatings of construction and tool materials.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of setting crystallographic directions of easiest magnetization in parallel with vector of resulting magnetization of domains at compression or tension deformation; matching direction of outer magnetic field with crystallographic directions of easiest magnetization; preliminarily treating coating with complex NiFe or TeFe. Magnetization energy exceeds deformation energy.

EFFECT: increased deformation resistance of coating material having enlarged using range.
