SUBSTANCE: method involves cleaning roofing to be reconstructed; stepwise heating and compacting roofing; applying plasticizing additive obtained as petroleum refining product on roofing to be reconstructed; forming vertical channels extending the full roofing thickness. Plasticizing additive is mastic additionally having bitumen, ground rubber and organic fiber waste. All above components are taken in the following amounts: petroleum refining product is 20-80% by weight, bitumen is 8-70% by weight, ground rubber is 7-25% by weight and remainder - organic fiber waste.
EFFECT: increased service life of roofing covering.
