FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat exchange processes in cylinders of diesel engine, internal combustion engine, walls of boilers and furnaces and bodies of different flying vehicles and rockets. Proposed heat insulating coating of elements and/or units of combustion chamber on zirconium dioxide ZrO2 in form of layer of porous nontransparent ceramics, thickness 0.1-2 mm, is made semitransparent. Absorption coefficient is chosen in interval of 1-5m-1 and scattering coefficient in interval 50-100m-1.
EFFECT: provision of heat insulating coating of diesel engine combustion chamber with high reliability and efficiency and ecologically save in operation.
