FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for members and/or units of engine combustion chambers. Proposed coating contains at least one preceding layer and layer facing combustion chamber. Preceding layer and layer facing combustion chamber feature absorption coefficient not exceeding 2 (1/m). Preceding layer is made optically heterogeneous, and layer facing combustion chamber is made optically homogeneous, with extremely high coefficients of carrying capacity in visible and/or near infrared bands and radiating capacity in middle and/or far infrared bands and coefficient of thermal conductivity exceeding those of preceding layer. Preceding layer is made with scattering dissipation coefficient within 10 and 100 (1/m).
EFFECT: reduced dissipation of heat from combustion chamber in surrounding medium, increased efficiency and service life of engine, provision of ecological safety, reduced consumption of fuel.
