FIELD: investigating strength properties of solid materials.
SUBSTANCE: device has working chamber with clams for clamping a specimen, loading mechanism, heater, means for supplying gas, and instruments for measuring and control. The walls and flanges of the working chamber are provided with the cooling jacket. The rods of the clamps and wires of the heater are provided with passages for cooling. The inner side of the cooling jacket is provided with heat insulation member. The heater is made of a spiral and mounted in the working chamber to allow the specimen to be inside the spiral. The heat insulation member can be made of a cylinder provided with top and bottom and receiving heat insulating material.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability.
